Twin Farms Tree Houses (AoR to Michaelis Boyd)

Twin Farms is a bespoke luxury resort property in Barnet Vermont situated on the farm once owned by literary icon Sinclair Lewis and his wife, the pioneering radio correspondent, Dorothy Thompson.  Black River Design served as Architect of Record, teaming with London/NYC based design firm Michaelis Boyd, on the addition of eight treehouses to the Twin Farms resort.  Critical services included Code compliance, review and coordination, hiring consultants, consultant coordination, and issuance of construction documents that maintained the original intent of the designers.  BRD performed the primary coordination role with the Construction Manager, reviewing submittals, producing job drawings, and making regular site visits.
