Rock Acres (Metis Sur Mer, QC)
When their early 20th century family summer house was destroyed by fire, the owners decided to rebuild. The new house would be designed so that multiple generations of the family could vacation together under the same roof with a careful balance of togetherness and autonomy. The new house would also take full advantage of the elevated site with it’s well developed gardens and commanding views of the Gulf of the St Lawrence River.
