Maple Ridge Lodge Assisted Living (in collaboration with Northbridge Companies)
Essex, Vermont
Maple Ridge Lodge Assisted Living is a 71-apartment assisted living community. An inviting two-story central fireplace is wrapped in stone and is the hub for two wings housing studio, one and two bedroom apartments. Three unique dining options, a bar, fitness studio, two activities room, art room, salon, library, common room, and movie theater offer residents hospitality like amenities. An outdoor seating area offers a fireplace and pergola. The interior courtyard is located near the main dining room and provides seating and an outdoor activity area. Black River Design worked closely with the owner/operator team to create this safe and caring community. A health center provides consultation and medication management. The project is part of an “age in place” community, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
