Golf Clubhouse and Nordic Center

Jay Peak Resort, VT

The new clubhouse strengthens the identity of the Jay Peak golf experience.  The facility provides a restaurant and bar, outdoor patio, pro shop, lounges, locker rooms, golf cart storage, and three luxury suites.  The exterior takes its cues from the mills that were the commercial backbone of the area.  The interiors make extensive use of wood, steel and reclaimed aged copper to create a stylistic, yet authentic space.  Views are oriented to the characteristic features of the golf course and the distinctive peaks. The building takes a hard-working and no-nonsense approach to energy efficiency.  Features include air to air heat exchange, energy efficient lighting, triple-glazed windows, and high levels of insulation and air tightness.
